Mary Sosety a 35 ans, vient d'accoucher de sa deuxième fille, par césarienne et a bénéficié de la prise en charge gratuite à travers les kits OC de l'UNFPA. Vivant à Fort Dauphin, région de l'Anosy, elle a préféré venir au Centre Hospitalier de Référence Régionale d'Ambovombe, région d'Androy, pour accoucher. Utilisatrice régulière de méthode contraceptive, elle a utilisé les contraceptifs injectables pendant 7 ans et les a arrêtés une fois que son couple a décidé d'avoir le deuxième bébé. 9 mois plus tard, le bébé est né, en pleine forme et dans les meilleures conditions. Elle a déjà bénéficié des conseils concernant la planification familiale post-partum et envisage volontairement d'adopter une méthode de longue durée.

"J'ai été opérée par césarienne lors d emon premier accouchement à la suite de laquelle j'ai adopté les contraceptifs par injections car nous voulons, mon mari et moi, bien espacer la naissance de nos enfants. Maintenant que notre fille a 7 ans, nous avons décidé ensemble d'avoir notre deuxième enfant. Maintenant, nous avons deux filles et nous sommes décidés à ne plus avoir d'enfants. Après les discussions que nous avons eues avec mon médecin, j'envisage sérieusement et volontairement d'adopter soit une méthode de longue durée soit une méthode définitive" a-t-elle déclaré.

 

Mary Sosety, 35, has just given birth to her second daughter, by caesarean section and has benefited from the free care through the UNFPA C-section kits. Living in Fort Dauphin, Anosy region, she preferred to come to the Regional Reference Hospital Center of Ambovombe, region of Androy, to give birth. As a regular contraceptive user, she used injectable contraceptives for 7 years and stoped them once her couple decided to have the second baby. 9 months later, the baby is born, in good shape and in the best conditions. She has already received advice about postpartum family planning and voluntary plans to adopt long-term method.

"I was operated by caesarean section during my first delivery, after which I adopted the contraceptives by injections because we want my husband and I to space the birth of our children well. Now that our daughter is 7, we decided together to have our second child. Now we have two daughters and we are determined not to have any children, and after the discussions we had with my doctor I seriously and voluntarily plan to adopt either a long-term method or a definitive method"she said.
