Briana, 21 years old, housewife living in Toamasina
Abandoned by my husband with whom I had my first and only child who is now aged 03. I was desperate and decided to begin a new life. I got married again to a man from my neighbourhood with the hope that my life would change with him. Alas! it wasn’t the case ... things got worse.
Confronted with this situation, I was able to benefit from psychosocial support and to share my suffering with a trusted person who was a social worker at the Listening and Legal Advice Center, CECJ. I was very lucky to be selected for a training on an Income Generating Activity.
This training is a blessing to me
"This training is a blessing to me, I hope I can finally realise my dream of becoming self-supporting and no longer depending on men. I will fight to earn a living and raise my child well," she confides. At the end of the training, Briana plans to set up a shop for the sale of a variety of jams.
Dear sisters, "Let us denounce cases of violence! Let's go to the CECJs for advice and support when in need."
